A standard worth joining.
INSUR.LIVE is a network of experienced, licensed professionals. People don't join it for leads — they join it for a way of practicing. This page describes that way, for professionals considering it and for clients who want to know who serves them.
The principles
- Education before any sale. The client understands their picture first — options, public rules, key dates — and decides second.
- Plain language, full disclosure. Every explanation carries the public rule behind it, translated out of jargon.
- The decision belongs to the client. No pressure, no steering — the professional's job is clarity, not closing.
- Gaps get named, always. Including the ones that can't be closed here: those come with a referral to the right independent professional.
Admission — a conversation between professionals
Admission is not an exam for beginners; it's how experienced people check that their ways of working match. It runs through real situations our clients bring — subsidy and MAGI mechanics, special enrollment rules, mixed-status households, Medicare transitions, state-by-state variations — because command of the hard cases is what our clients need most. Selectivity is a consequence of the level, never the point.
Membership is sustained
What keeps a professional in the network is how they work with clients: feedback, periodic review, and staying current as the rules change. Not paperwork once a year.
If these principles are yours
Tell us about your practice — your focus, your states, your languages.
It goes without saying: active licensure in good standing and a clean regulatory history, verified against national producer registries, are assumed before any conversation begins — hygiene, not a standard.
If you are a client reading this: every professional in our network chose these principles before meeting you.
